About Us

Inline Swine SkaterThe Inline Swine have been skating together since 1992. We are the oldest continuous skating group in Houston. We strive to be friendly and inclusive. Many friendships and several marriages have evolved from the group! We have one weekly Tuesday night skate on the streets and generally several of the group work out at Memorial Park Picnic Circle on Thursday nights. Plus there are various "ad hoc" skates such as The Art Car Parade, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, and other skates as people desire. A number of our group went to California in 2006 for several competitive as well as recreational skates, including a 26 mile marathon.
